WHAT I AM AND WHAT I AM NOT
I am not a therapist or a social worker. I am a Ph.D. and thus, a doctor, but my own degree is in not-for-profit program design and administration. That has helped me bring programs and services to the public for over forty years.
I am not a counselor in the sense that licensed health professionals establish a practice to provide counseling services. I have worked as an academic and life advisor since 1966, personally assisting an estimated twelve thousand students and individuals during that time.
I certainly do not profess to have any special "powers." However, I am both the beneficiary and a long-time student of many powerful and generous experts--even masters. I have studied for over fifty years, a student of comparative religion and more particularly, Oriental philosophy.
I am not religious, let alone a proselyte of one or another belief system. I am spiritual--believing that the good I do is the first and best measure of my success. Thus, I embrace all religions if they do good. I reject what is prejudiced, exclusive, or simply mean.
I am not political. I support those who do good. I will not, however, settle for the lesser of evils, and thus, I will not support many of the even-more-popular candidates or political causes.
I am a person who wishes to do no harm. I am a person who wishes to help others. With those two abiding ethics, I may be able to help you to live a happier and more successful life.
